You will need to take it to a mechanic or auto parts store that has a code reader for OBD-II. They will be able to scan the codes and reset them. Many auto parts stores do it for free. However, if you don't correct the problem that has caused the light to come on, it will just come right back.

Change the gas cap, fuel injector cleaner, oil cleaner. Do not get your gas from old gas stations. Drive the vehicle after reset 45 miles per hour or less, not faster for 35 miles , let cool then drive 35 more. Sometimes the solution is simpler and far less expensive. Not all mechanics do the real reasearch. Some are more trained in parts changing upon code reading.
