What are some reason the top radiator hose may burst

So my car has been having alot of problems
recently I drove it about 5 miles to the gym
n it was fine but they drive back j started to
notice the temperature increase so I pulled
over turned off my car and waited after
about 5 mins I drove it began to shake and
lose power where it eventually just stopped
I restarted it jus to get it to the house  the
car then began to jerk as I approached 20
mph so again I pulled over turned the car off
and waited about 5 min. I accelerated really
slow and the car drove fine the heat was
back down to normal (on the temp gauge)
and about 3 mins after that I heard a loud
pop and seen fluid fly up from my engine I
drove about 200-300 ft since I was basically
home when I popped the hood there was
alot of smoke and I noticed the radiator
hose was jacked up does anyone know
what went wrong with the car and if it has
anything to do with a bad O2 sensor

I suggest you replace the radiator hose and the O2 sensor. A bad O2 sensor can send a signal to the fuel management system telling the computer there is a rich condition in the exhaust and subsequently lean out the fuel/air mixture. Too lean will burn hot and cause overheating. Now, that being said, once the radiator hose is back on and the coolant level restored run the engine with the radiator cap off until normal operating temp is achieved. At normal temp if there is excessive bubbling in the radiator or recovery tank then you possibly have a blown head gasket or cracked head and you are blowing coolant out the tailpipe and the coolant in the exhaust is screwing with the computer.

You could have a blockage in the radiator, or water pump the vanes can be corroded and are not producing enough flow thru the system...
