why would the all wheel drive come on after I changed the tire to a spare tire?

What do you mean? An AWD system is always on, that's how it works. Maybe you really mean the car doesn't feel the same with the compact spare? Go and get your tire replaced and maybe a tire rotation.
2015 Murano tire was flat, put spare tire on , drove 3miles, a warning light came on , stop car, transaxle oil to hot , will damage transmission. I stop car for 15 to 20 minutes, light was off, drove 2 miles, light came on again,Why!!
