Question type: General

2003 nissan altima. The car does not crank.
When the key is put in and turned to start it,
everything works fine inside. Lights, radio
dash lights but the car will not crank.
Anyone have any input on what it could be?

Your anti theft system is the problem most likely. Try the other key.

I had this just recently happen to me. I have a brand new battery (less than 3 months old). You need a new fusible link that attaches to the battery. It costs about 20.00 at the dealership. Takes less than 10 minutes to install. I replaced this after 12 years and car is cranking and working perfectly.
