I have a 03 350zwith original headlights. The ballast went out. Will the ballast sold online fit with my original headlight parts??

Someone told me i had to buy the dealership ballast for my 350z or else it would not
work. Just wondering if this s true or not.

Most are not HID! Is yours a touring model? IT has factory HID lights and you can get the parts on eBay or Craigslist. Mine got stolen from the paint shop when I had the car repainted and I found replacement ballasts and ignitor's on eBay and new housings with everything but the ballast and ignitor for much cheaper on eBay than the auto recycling places (junkyards).
