Help me identify this engine part please

It broke and I cant figure out what it is called

The pcv valve is on the left side of that photo and not visible. I was really stumped so i took it to the auto parts store and one of the employees determined that it is the crankcase breather hose elbow. It just connects the breather hose to the air intake duct. I replaced it for 3 bucks :-)
