Nissan Pathfinder 2004 3.5L Automatic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, 6Months ago, My car stopped suddenly after I start. After that, it was only cranking but no start. Some electricians checked and told me that the ECU/ECM  has been gone. Now after 6 Months, I am able to get  the same part number ECU/ECM from the scrap. I fixed it, re-programmed, Now it starts the car. Now the problem is with its acceleration. When I hit the gas pedal, rpm only increases to 1500. If i release the pedal, it will go to idle. The engine is smooth. All coils are working fine. Engine light is on. 2 codes are appearing on diagnostic scanner. P1122 & P1126. After hard checkup by Nissan Certified Electrician, he said that the ECU/ECM is faulty which I purchased recently. Now please help me if it could be possible that ECM/ECU could make it happen for no acceleration.

Well, who knows? An "electrician" diagnosed the initial problem- you got the replacement computer from a scrapyard- you "reprogrammed" it- now you have a "Nissan Certified Electrician" telling you what is wrong- anything could be happening after all that mess- you could have saved a lot of time and trouble by taking it to a good mechanic in the first place-
