My check engine light came on. It showed MAF code. I changed it twice, still showing the same code.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on. It showed MAF code. I changed it twice, still showing the same code. Took it to the dealer, and idk what they did, the car is not even starting - it starts but unless I rev, the rpm goes to 0 and car dies. When I drive it and if the rpm goes over 2 1/2, the car cuts the throttle (this all was not happening before I took my car to Nissan).
Please Help as nissan dealer is just asking for more money to look into the problem as they are not sure what is wrong. They said it can take them 3 hours or 365 day, I will be liable to pay for everything.

Had my MAF replaced last year..was bunny hopping and reving badly..stalling. My engine light is always on even after resetting. It's a quick job to fix and it you buy MAF online it's like half the price the dealership told me. I can look for the link if you want. Let me know and good luck !
