My stereo in my 04 Maxima wont turn on

Asked by Trisha May 18, 2012 at 03:04 AM about the 2004 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A cassette tape got stuck in the deck and a friend of mine tried to pry it out with a screw driver and even took the
stereo out. While he did this he unhooked the battery and now I have no stereo at all. Everything else works and all
the fuses in the fuse boxes are good. What can I do? Please help I have been without a stereo for almost a year
and on a very limited income and cant afford to take it in.

Bad news. I had to replace my radio in my G35 (Same car but Infiniti) for the same reason. They will want $600 to get it fixed.
