Cruising speed for a BMW230i

I bought a new BMW230i seven months ago and I'm worried about pushuing it too hard while driving on the highway? By pushing it I mean cruising at a proper speed. Is it okay to keep it at 70mph? Thanks

The top speed of your car is something like 155 mph. 70 is not even half that.

Plus most vehicles today don't require a break in period. Check your owner's manual to be sure. Hope that helps! Jim

It isn't about the speed, it's all about how high the rpm of the engine is. Keep it out of the redline for the first 1000 miles when accelerating and vary your speeds from highway to city.
