P0605 code

Asked by Hwncrzn Nov 05, 2017 at 09:29 PM about the 2005 Nissan Frontier 4 Dr LE Crew Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 2005 Nissan Frontier that threw a P0605 code when I was driving.
Truck went into fail safe mode which resulted in immediate power loss, no to
limited acceleration. Also noticed that I had some trouble with vehicle not
starting at times, or would start and would get no display until I restarted
again. Someone told me that my ECU might be going bad? Has anyone else
experienced this with their vehicle?

Thanks,

Larry

I think that the ECU may be bad. This code indicates a fault with the ROM. https://www.obd- codes.com/p0605
