Clicking noise in idle on 2019 Honda Accord EX

Asked by Neitzele Jul 10, 2019 at 09:06 PM about the 2019 Honda Accord 1.5T EX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a 2019 Honda Accord and when it
is in idle it makes a slight clicking noise that I
notice when the window is rolled down. Is this a
normal sound for a Honda engine?

It's not a normal sound for any new engine. Get it back to the dealer for a possible warranty claim. Make sure it didn't come to you low on engine oil, and you take the blame. These new engines are so smooth, I can't even hear them run.
