05 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE problems

Asked by bwisemayhall Sep 20, 2015 at 06:20 PM about the 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently it started stalling out (w/o the car turning off) and would not
accelerate. The TCS, ABS and Slip light are all on. It runs fine for a little
while but then it does the stalling thing again w/o actually cutting off and
then jerks as you put the pedal to the floor if it even does that, other times
you literally go 2 mile per hour.  Resetting the ECM doesn't even do the
trick. After a few minutes of gas pedal fidgeting it kicks right back in and
starts running just fine.  Can someone please tell me what is wrong with
this stupid car?

It probably has a mass air flow sensor issue and throttle body needing to change
