How do I reset my computer in a nissan altima 2005

My car won't pass the California Omission test, I am being told the computer needs to be reset

A dealer and some mechanics can re-flash the computer if that is what you mean.

The California Emissions test does not test tailpipe emissions but reads the computer instead.
