2005 Nissan Altima

Asked by 2Miki Jan 09, 2019 at 05:48 PM about the 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5

Question type: General

I just began noticing a red blinking light on the dashboard near the windshield on above the steering wheel. It only blinks while the car is off and not when the engine is turned on and running. Can you tell me what it means?

Thanks so much for your help! Sincerely, Miki

My Jeep has that too. It's your security system indicating that it is on. It comes on when you lock your car with the remote. It's wise you should ask. A red blinking light anywhere else usually means trouble.
