I got a nissan altima 2005, I took it to the dealer mechanic they say it needs a throller position sensor and cat converter. Well I took it to another mechanic they said it needs a new transmission.

ummm there is an OBD-II diagnostic port not three feet from the ignition switch...take this to an autozone or napa or buy the 15 dollar tool and do this yourself....READ the trouble codes then RESET the codes~

Is that throller position sensor for altima 2005? I can't find it only for year 2001.
