My 350z nissan roadster convertibles oil guage goes up and down recently the lower the revs it goes down & the faster I go the guage goes back up is there a problem

What is the range that the guage moves, it could be the oil pump, have you changed the oil lately What year is it???

The guage fluctuates from the middle to the left &then right & back to the middle like that this has just started the year 2004 /2005
