2006 and 2007 Altima transmission interchangeable

Can a 2006 Altima transmission be put into a 2007

Altima?  The engine is a 2.5S

Why replace an old worn tranny with an old worn tranny ? You can run the vin #'s , do some research and see if it is the same tranny , or have the original rebuilt .

As long as the transmission numbers match it should work, but watch out for used transmissions that do not carry at least a parts warranty as the one you buy maybe as bad or worse that the one you already have.
