Head bolt difference

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am doing a head gasket replacement on my 06
Nissan Altima 2.5 . I am about to put the head back
on when I notice the head bolts I've taken off the
car and the new ones look different . I then look at
head bolts and pictures on line but they all look like
what I was sent . I know they stretch and flex but
the thread pattern is wider then the new ones .

That's definitely a different thread, take it to a parts suppliers and get a matching set grade 8.
