Hose Soak?

Heater house may have soaked a coil pack.
Throwing a code but no reader. Can I hack/check
engine light to blink the code to be sure with a
paper clip? 1997 v 6

Pull all the coils and plugs and dry everything out. Seal all the rubber boots with dielectric grease.

Start pulling wires off coil pack while running. Pull the wires far enough away to notice change in engine while misfiring. Isolate to which one is misfiring.
