Asked by Mike Feb 21, 2016 at 02:02 PM about the 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New alt. Worked fine for a few days now its acting
up again and it's drained my battery. I have no
multimeter. How can I check if it's the alt it's self or
just a faulty electriCal wire

It won't start. It turns over but barely cranks. Before when I put the new alt on it would die when I would stop. Then my lights got dimmer and dimmer and it just died completely. It would start back up after a few mins but it would doe again. Nowe it's completely dead with a good battery and alternator. I had them both tested more than once and different places
