Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Is there an add on price for buying a certified car.  A recent dealer said it will be
a added 2500 dollars to the cost of the car.

Some one has to pay for the warranty. Check the price against other CPO cars to make sure you are not over paying. I would only buy a Ford factory certified car.

There is an added cost, but $2500 is way too high. It probable cost the dealer $1000 to $1250 to CPO this so negotiate from there.
