I'm sure there is, at least on one of the screens. I would consult the owners manual.

Go to system set up, go to time setup, and then go to show time if radio is off and put a check mark. There you go

Hello Guru88DR6, I cannot find that setting in the radio. There is no system setup that I can find. Can you elaborate a little more please?

I cannot find info to permanently display clock 2016 Jeep Compass. Owners manual only offer how to change time.

Here is what I did and it worked. I turned the radio on while I had the "set" button pushed. Now I have clock view and listening to the radio. Mine is a 1997 so it may not help you but worth a try

I have a 2020 Jeep GC Trailhawk. I followed the directions of "Guru88DR6" and found that an owner can change which items are displayed in Upper Left and Upper Right of screen. "Time" is an available option. I changed my Upper Right from Outside Temperature to Time. Now, I have current time displayed at all times.
