High idle and brakes hard to push

Asked by Guru27V9B Feb 21, 2021 at 06:15 PM about the 2007 Dodge Caravan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my spark plugs and wires changed on my 2007
dodge caravan afterwards it idles high and the brakes are
very hard. Changed out all the brakes, the calipers, lines o2
sensor, and some other stuff. Still running the same. Any
ideas?

Check the vacuum hose for the power brake booster. A vacuum leak will cause a high idle and the vacuum leak at the brake booster will cause a hard brake pedal. Hope that helps! Jim
