How to wire in a second battery?

Asked by Joe Jul 05, 2020 at 06:57 PM about the 2019 Chevrolet Express Cargo 2500 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I come off the main supply at the fusebox under the seat and ground to the
body, or do I need to run positive and negative wires from the main start
battery?
The second battery will be located behind the driver seat.

Run the wires positive to positive and negative to negative. Use a battery isolator unless you want the second battery for starting. https://www.etrailer.com/question-259273.html

Run the wires positive to positive and negative to negative. Use a battery isolator unless you want the second battery for starting. I would wire it directly to the charging system and other battery. https://www.etrailer.com/question-259273.html
