My car was running fine one day then all the sudden it started having low voltage problems, the windows, radio, door locks, and really everything but the rpms/mph stopped working.

Asked by Tylerx93 Aug 25, 2015 at 03:03 PM about the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving when all of these happened and the car eventually just died at a 35mph roll and would not start back up, I couldn't even pop the clutch to get it going again so i ended up having to roll it into a parking lot. All i could notice was low voltage staying under 8-9 volts off of the meter and it wouldn't stay started after a jump. So i figured the alternator was bad and had it replaced but even now, without a jump, the car will not start or even stay started. had the battery tested and charged still haven't fixed the problem. Someone help?

Check for loose/dirty ground connections on the frame (right behind the battery box) and the one on motor(on trans by starter). These cars are known for having issues like this And they do all sorts of weird things when these are loose or dirty.
