which cylinder do you set at top dead center to time a 3000gt?? been stuck on this car for a few weeks now

Yes I do. Just wasn't sure which cylinder to go off of. The service manual wasn't very clear about which one it is. I assume its the first one on the front side?

If you mean the cylinder far right on the front bank when standing in front of the car,, then yes

I have my cams in pace on the heads in the right place. is there a time spot for the crank shaft?
