Exhaust systems being removed

I want to take my exhaust off from the CAT
backwards to see what it would sound like could
these cause damage to the car ?

As long as you leave the cat and the downstream O2 sensor you should be OK. It is possible the lack of backpressure could cause some running problems. Dumping the exhaust under the car in the wrong place could cause heat damage.
