I've seen this site before, but 7.5 ounces doesn't sound right. My mechanic put a little over 1 12 ounce can in mine and it doesn't blow real cold air.

he could have over charge it and that will cause it not to cool as mush as undercharging the system...

if the system is cooling correctly there should a 25 degree different from the outside temp vs the inside temp. put the car in the shade and as an example if its 100 degrees outside and with a thermometer inserted in the duct on high fan it should read 75 degrees give or take a few degrees...
