How fo you take the Alternator off of a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT

Take the tension off the belt. Disconnect the battery and the wire to the alternator. There are probably two bolts to remove.

Its a lot of work! I found it easier to remove the radiator so you don't damage it removing the alternator! Its real tight squeeze plus you HAVE to remove the front timing belt cover so you can wiggy it out safely. Watch a few utube vids is best.....and wear good heavy duty rubber gloves. Your going to get real dirty from oil and road grime !
