sluggish,

Hi lately it is getting very sluggish,wants to go off when waiting on a stop light. respond very slowly to accelaration after a stop drives well athigh way speeds sometimes temprature gauge goes a little high  .have replaced wires spark plugs, coils,air filter .I was told that this model does not have a fuel filter to replace as it is in the fuel tank. a friend is suggesting that the catalytic converter may be the problem . do you have any opinion or suggestion to help. thanks

clean or replace mass air flow sensor.

Josh, I cleaned the mass air flow sensor , checked for vacum leaks . still no solution , any other suggestions. thanks

dont know if timing is adjustable on your car but that might be something to check. have you tried to pull codes. ill ask a few other techs at my work to see if they have heard of any problems with your make and model.
