I have believe a very rare problem . Had a split in flextube exhaust and after a few days before repair transmission acting strange would just slip into neutral then come out . Had exhaust repaired and everything seemed ok for awhile . Now cannot move stuck neutral believe. Fluid is fine clear and looks normal. We already had tranny replaced once approx 60k ago. It is 2003 eclipse gt with auto with 3 gears on side also. Can you help? Thanks!

Don't really know why those things happen? Seems like when you take avehicle for maintenance something else follows right bebeside it. Cars as transmission slipping hopefully. Its not milky like strawberry milk looking. That's water mixing in with tranny fluid. May cause the bands to rust and eventually rust and snap loose. Check out the radiator for fluid levels. If tranny is hot it also causes it to slip.

Thanks I've been in contact with the transmission specialist in area he actually put one in before he asked me to check fluid with engine on and off and see if same it was . He assumes pump is bad as level is higher than normal . Thanks alot for quick answer!! Appreciate.
