3m Carbon Fiber what would look better?

Asked by Joe Jun 29, 2012 at 11:30 AM about the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

Question type: Car Customization

I have 03 Eclipse, stock silver. I am wanting to 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber it and I am wondering if you guys think I should do the hood and it will look fine. Or go ahead and do the roof, trunk, and wing also. I am questioning this just because I though maybe if I did just the hood it would look funny. I am doing it because the hood would probably need to be repainted so I am trying to save money.

I would suggest to just save your money and buy real carbon parts. Cheapest carbon hood for your car is $439 which is that bad. The 3M stuff looks very generic and is only good for interior pieces not the body.
