1984 mercury grand marquis

the fuel pump and injectors wont work. when the key is turned on.does anyone know what would cause this?

Could be the inertial cutoff in the trunk(push button, if you have one). Fuel pump relay is another possibility. They go bad. Look in your owner's manual, or inside the fuse cover. Standard ford relay, very common. Also, you could have a bad fuel pump.
