Drive a Mitsubishi Outlander 2004. When I come to a complete stop, and attempt to accelerate again, the ignition will cut off. What is going on?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We take good care of the car. Oil changes, tire rotations, fluid changes, etc. I
know these things probably aren't pertinent, but, I know that having someone
who take care of their car properly, and knows general car maintenance might
help in diagnosing a problem. As far as the ignition cutting off, it happens at
most twice a day. Sometimes it won't happen for a day or two. Fairly random.
Thanks!

Check air filter and clean throttle body. Replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while

I have changed the air filter just a month ago. On a 2004 outlander, will I be able to change the fuel filter without replacing the fuel pump as well? As for a throttle body cleaning, I can do that myself, but it's kind of a pain on an outlander. How much would a reasonable price for this work cost in your opinion? Thanks for your insight.

It really just depends on where you live but just to do a throttle body cleaning $30-40 that is give and take.
