2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT misfire P0305

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a bad misfire on cylinder 5 (the code reader actually showed 2
P0305 codes for some reason) after replacing valve cover gaskets, plugs,
and coils, I've checked the coils and that everything is still plugged in, they
gave me one wrong coil that I didn't see was different when my friend put it
in place (on cylinder 5) so I switched that out and took it around the block
and it seemed perfect, but after I left and got a few blocks away it started
missing again (still cylinder 5) and its worse at low rpm's and if you slowly
rev up once you pass 2000 it gets much better at not missing for some
reason. In the morning I am going to double check the plugs, and test wires
to the coils, the big thing is I'm having trouble finding the wiring guide, and
I'm not sure if there's anything I'm not thinking of here and should have in
mind to check when I take it apart yet again.

so I took it apart again and checked plugs, and one of the new plugs I got had a hairline crack up the side, so that turned out to be the whole problem in the end.
