I have a 96 mercury sable i have ti drive my car n 2
because when in drive it has a hard time catching
gear is that a good or bad thing help me please

2nd gear is made for going uphills or if you are towing something and you need more torque,but driving always on 2nd gear will mess up your transmission. And if you are only driving on 2nd gear because your transmission is acting on you, time to sell the car, because this could be the start of nagging and money pit of your car.
