Car not moving

My car will turn on perfectly bit when shift it won't
reverse or go fwd....any sugestion

This happened to me once. It sounds like the transmission went bad. You'll need to see a mechanic. There's a possibility it may drive in neutral but obviously that's not recommended.

Thanks it does move in neutral and mechanics are hard to find. How do I go about getting a transmission.

I would talk to a mechanic; replacing a transmission isn't easy. It's also. Dry expensive and likely not worth the cost to replace. You could check with a salvage yard. You might find a transmission there at a decent price.
