Whistle sound inside lincoln mkt

Asked by Bob Nov 17, 2020 at 11:58 AM about the 2014 Lincoln MKT Livery Fleet AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2014 lincoln mkt 325k.. there is a whistling sound
coming from inside rear of vehicle.. sounds like a
slide whistle.. or even a police siren whoop whoop
sound.. the dealer said it was the brakes and
related item, even though it sounds the same
parked and idling or driving 80mph. So they
replaced everything through and through.. but the
sound is still there.. is it the brakes still when just
parked and idling? Or does it have to do with the
ac heating or vacuum seals in something?

we would need to be inside the vehicle to hear it and pinpoint where it was originating from. Anything else is just a guess. Find another mechanic.
