Asked by Dave32826 Oct 11, 2017 at 10:11 AM about the 2003 Mercury Mountaineer Convenience RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had the oil changed, always before the oil pressure gauge was in the
center, now it's about 3 to 4 marks higher on the gauge, should I be concerned?

No over time oil breaks down and viscosity changes and oil becomes thinned and also depends on which oil weight and viscosity level they used ex 5w-30 10-w30
