How can i tell if my feul cut off switch clicked up because my car wont start and it has gas in it its turning over just wont crank

I see switch and i thought i pressed it but it was down allrrady plus it showed red and it seemed to be down already.could it by chance b the feul pump

If you cannot push down or turn on the switch, it is most likely not turned off. When you turn the ignition key to NO, do you hear any kind of click and or humming sound in the car? You should hear the fuel pump running. If you don't hear the fuel pump hum, start checking for a blown fuse.
