Asked by Bob Feb 04, 2017 at 09:45 AM about the 2004 Mercury Marauder 4 Dr STD Sedan

Question type: Car Customization

I need a few more horsepower and was wondering if any of you do it your
selfers have installed a jet turbofan after-burning engine, like the P&W F100
JTF22 in a Ford Panther platform vehicle such as my 2004 Mercury
Marauder.  I think the 23,770 lbs of thrust while using the afterburner would
be a nice boost in power.  What do you think this would cost?  Would it need
dyno tuning.  Would it out run Buicks?

Man I need an answer! I just about have this engine out of this F-16.

I may have to use a torch on the rear engine mount bolt. It is stuck and will not come out. Suggestions?

I am still working on it. The fuel lines won't match up
