Sounds best? A properly running and maintained vehicle. Are you asking about aftermarket exhausts? That is a personal choice. I'd purchase a flow master. They have many series to choice from. Frequent some Ranger online forums and see what some owners will say.

TDolby thank you, well my ford ranger has a full stock exhaust, and my truck sounds like a leaf blower and I want it to sound meaner, it runs perfectly and is always really well maintained.
