2011 Chevy Avalanche

I have a ticking noise from the front of the engine. Oil
pressure seems fine per the gauge, not normal pressure
when I take off. Also sluggish on take off but runs great
after. Checked my oil, it’s fine and full to the normal line
and pretty clean, just had it changed 3 weeks ago. Belts
all look good. Mechanic said oil pump? Does that sound
right? He said there was wiggle in the “wheel” by the oil
pump. I wish my dad was still here.....frustrated.
