2002 chevy blazer quickly overheating

My blazer is overheating quickly, it started out as
overheating when the a.c. is on an at idle. Now just
yesterday  it began to overheat every few minutes.
I had the radiator replaced and the thermostat as
well, just few weeks ago...a.c. works fine, tried to
turn the heat on to help with the overheating an
didn't feel no heat coming out, felt cool air ..

Yeah I figure its between the water pump an fan... hope I can afford to get this repaired. Wheres the best place to start on checking my fan??
