2018 Nissan Rogue AWD high temperature stop vehicle warning

Asked by GuruLT3XS Mar 30, 2019 at 07:22 PM about the 2018 Nissan Rogue SL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,
I purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue with 26K miles. The car came with 4 new tires. I took it for a short drive of
30 miles. After every couple of miles, I get to see the error message "AWD high-temperature stop vehicle".
The messages went off after a minute or two and again reappeared after traveling for a few miles. This went
on happening for 3 to 4 times. The temp outside was 60F, neither hot nor cold. I drove the vehicle with a
speed between 50miles/hr to 65 miles/hr.
Is the car having a mechanical problem or something else happening here?

Thanks
Suraj

Your car is almost certainly having a problem. Make your problems the dealers problems!

AWD due to tire issues I've had the donut on front and back and never had a problem.
