2018 Nissan Fronter (2,200 miles) won't start periodically

Asked by 2018NissanFrontier Aug 27, 2018 at 01:41 PM about the 2018 Nissan Frontier SV V6 Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone. I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier (Midnight Edition with only 2,200
miles) and it won't start periodically. I'll drive to a store, for example, then when
I leave the truck won't start. Just some clicks. This has happened 4 times. 2
times I had to call the Nissan roadside assistance for a tow.

Dealer's service center has no idea what is going on. It's there again (just took
it in) because this happened last night. 2 of the times I waited 20 minutes or so
and then it started. I spoke with one of the employees who said they have 2
other Nissan Frontiers in the shop now with the very same issue.

Last time it was in the shop, they got it to start but admitted they didn't know
why it wouldn't start when it came in. So they left the case open. Good thing
because it's there again.

Anyone have any ideas or have experienced this?
Thanks!

I think it's 4 times in Texas but yes, I am thinking this will be inevitable. I really love this truck! I want one exactly the same -- but one that works.
