2018 Nissan Altima SR

I don't know how to turn on backup lights (not tail
lights). I checked it has bulbs in the housing.
However,  it doesn't turn on at any mode. Possibly,
is it broken?

When you put the transmission into reverse the lights come on. If they do not work have the dealer fix it under warranty.
