Are doors with manual locks and windows interchangeable with doors that had power locks and windows?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to replace the passenger door on my daughter's 1998 Ford Explorer that has roll up windows and manual locks.  All I can find in local junkyards are Explorers with power locks and windows.  The "guts" to the original door are good, just outside is crinkled.  Are these doors interchangeable?

Should be no problem with the door. The guts of the old door with roll up windows will have to be salvaged and installed in the new door. YOu will also need to keep the interior panel from the old door to attach to the replacement door. Take the hinges and door from the donor vehicle. Leave hinges attached. Mark location of hinges to frame on vehicle to use as a guide in installing the new door. You will probably have to make a few adjustments before dead on.
