hey if i unplug the pcm from a 2003 mazda tribute v6 should the check engine indicator still illuminate when ignition is turn on

The default position is probably always on until the pcm tells the cluster to turn it off using the data network


okay thanks much that information is very helpful because i was thinking that the car have electrical wires touching each other to keep it on
